I am once again receiving no notification emails from Abantecart when a new order is placed. All the notification settings I can edit appear correct, but I don't receive any notice email of receiving a new order, or the content of a new order, or any other notification. I do receive a notification from my payment processor (Stripe) that a payment has been processed, so other external systems are able to email me.
Is there something besides filling in the requested notification addresses that needs to be turned on?
Also, I've never managed to receive an SMS notification in any version of Abantecart. I am running 1.3.2.
Getting this error: Error: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (0)
I have tried this both by setting SMTP and by setting simple Mail. My target address is at outlook.com

OK, I have been working with my host, and I'm now getting emails forwarded - but messages are ALSO generating an error in Abantecart:
2021-12-01 20:09:38 - Error: DATA not accepted from server!
2021-12-01 20:09:39 - Error: QUIT not accepted from server!
So now I'm even more confused.

Hello. The mail server do not accept your mail configuration.
Make sure you use the correct outgoing port as per mail server configuration and try to set the ssl:// in the host field

After "upgrading" to 1.3.2 I'm no longer receiving notification emails either. After a test purchase, the customer is also not receiving confirmation. Prior to this, I've not had a single email issue.
FOR ANYONE WITHIN EARSHOT:
If you have a stable version of AbanteCart, DO NOT UPGRADE. Lately, most changes are unbearably buggy.

Hello. What is your Mail sender: PHP mailer or SMTP? Check the mail outgoing log and servers error logs
