General Support / Change order of Welcome message and Main Page Promo

Hi

By default, the Main Page Promo appears first, then the welcome message. I think this should be changed by default as a Welcome message is very important.

How can I change the order so that the Welcome message is first then the Main Page Promo under it?

Also I assume that if I want to change the font size of the Welcome message, I have to edit a .css file somewhere?

General Support / Possible to see the net worth of my total product inventory?

Hi

Is it possible to see the total net worth of my total product inventory? For example, lets just say I have a total of 10 products in my store and each one is worth £10. The total worth of my store is £100. But where can I see this info at a glance?

Please can someone let me know why my MainPage Promo Block is no longer showing in a rectangle box? It just shows a text and no graphics. Here is my HTML:

General Support / How to add a line between Specials and Brands Scrolling List

Hi All,

How can I add a line between Specials and Brand Scrolling List? Banners show up under Specials and it looks like the Banners are party of Specials so I want to add a separator saying "Sponsored Adverts".

General Support / Adding a new Footer Icon in v1.2.2

Hi All,

I want to add more icons to the Footer Icon block (i.e Instagram).

I can edit the Social Icons block and add my new URL:
<a href="http://www.instagram.com/" target="_blank" title="Instagram" class="Instagram">Instagram</a>

I can see that Social Icons have a CSS = /Storefront/View/Default/Stylesheet/Style.css

I can see the the CSS is calling /Storefront/View/Default/Image/footericon.png

Footericon.png is a single image containing lots of social icons.

How can I tell my new Instagram URL to call the correct icon from Footericon.png? I do not want to add an src= tag at the end of my URL because I want to keep the code as normal as possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Extension Support / Test mode ON and PayPal test does not work

Hi all,

AbanteCart V 1.2.2

I installed the PayPal Express extension. I created a PayPal account. I added my API details. I clicked on TEST and I get this error:

PayPal error: Security header is not valid. Please check your API Credentials and try again. Also please note that Test mode is ON!

IF I switch Sandbox mode to OFF - everything works fine.

Any ideas?

General Support / How to reset admin password via SQL

Hi

I have been using Abantecart with the same username and password for around 2 months. Today it decided that the combination of username and password is not valid! I know there are hacks to get around this, but I want to know how to change the password via SQL Admin using the abc_Users table. I can see that there is a Password field with an encrypted password. Can I replace it with say "Password" ?

General Support / Which folders to move from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2 & Admin Storefront still not working?

Hi All,

Please can you help me?

I backed up all of my 1.2.1 files and DB. I erased the root folder of my site. I installed 1.2.2. I restored my DB. So far so good.... But which folders do I need to move from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2 to ensure I get all of my images, banners, templates and customisations back?

Also, when I log into the admin control panel and click on Storefront, it shows me the maintenance message. I thought 1.2.2 had this fixed?

Any help would be appreciated.

General Discussion / How can I edit - Home page Free Shipping section?

Hi All,

I'm Jay, just started to use AbanteCart after some good reviews. I hope I am not disappointed! So far, so good....

I have 2 questions and hope you can help:

1. Please can someone tell me how I can edit the 4 boxes on the home page? I have attached an image of the 4 boxes in questions, the first box says "Free shipping on orders over $200"....

2. Currently, I am testing AbanteCart on a subfolder (mywebsite.com/AbanteCart/). Will I be able to migrate this to the root of my website mywebsite.com ?

Any help would be appreciated.
