General Support / Unknown Error in Currency.php

Not sure how to fix this issue or what to do to fix this but I have tons of this entry in my error logs.
2024-03-25 13:08:20 - Unknown Error: AbanteCart core v.1.3.1 Unsupported operand types: string * string in <b>/XXXXXXX/currency.php</b> on line <b>228</b>

How do I fix this?

My customer had an issue during checkout where the screen completely turned white. The order did not complete. I tried on my end and the page will not load and none of my redirects show this page. Is there an error with stripe?

Additionally, the customer notification emails are getting to my customer, but are blank as well.

It also appears that my top banner with the category choices is not working either. I backed up my site last week and updated. Not sure what to do to fix this issue. All my products and categories are there just not visible on the main site.

Do I need to pick a new template for the site with this update?

Sorry to be asking so many questions.

Upgrade / Should I upgrade or wait?

I'm currently using AbanteCart version 1.3.0. Version 1.3.3 was released. Is there any pressing reason to update to the newer version or can I just continue running my current version that is working just fine?

I don't want to use Google Maps if I can somehow turn it off and avoid it. I do not have a Google Maps API and I don't want one.
I do not have an API or Google account listed on the General settings page for Google anything.

Only after this updating Abantecart from 1.2.16 to 1.3.0 have I seen this error on Incomplete orders.

Also, I keep getting warnings since I updated to 1.3.0 in my messages:
Incorrect config.php file permissions 06/01/2021 14:49 config.php file is writable. It is recommended to set read and execute modes to keep it secured from editing!

Both are set as 0555 but these warnings keep coming back when I delete the warnings. Is 0555 the correct permissions or should I set them to something else?

Stripe is now functioning properly.

Extension Support / Updated to Abantecart 1.3.0 and Stripe

The updates didn't fix the problem. Which is: The transactions are not processing, the orders remain incomplete, I don't receive an email that a transaction or order failed, and it appears that I can't input on Stripe Additional Settings page the Stripe API Key (Which was an entry in the previous Stripe version).

The incomplete transactions have an error at the bottom:
On the map
To view addresses on the interective Google map provide Google API key in the general settings

Is there a way to disable Google maps in Abantecart (I don't trust Google) so I don't need or want to allow Google map provide Google API key?
Where can I get a working version of the Stripe upgrade where I can put in my Stripe provided API Key?

I purchased the Stripe extension without support. It would seem I should have purchased support, too. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to purchase it independently from buying and paying again for the extension. So far $39. If I want support too it recharges the original $39 + $11 for support. SO $39 * 2 plus $11. This needs to be clarified. for future users. I thought since I've updated things before that I didn't need additional support, but It appears some things changed in how Stripe and Paypal interact with Abantecart 1.3.0 with the addition of the GOOGLE Crap and I need to know where to put the API Keys from Strip and Paypal and disable Google maps API hassle.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How do I determine what PHP Version AbanteCart is using?
If AbanteCart isn't using PHP Version 7.4 how do I upgrade this?

Payment Modules / Re: Default_Stripe payment extensions problem

Had this same issue with the Default Stripe Payment extension. Using Abantecart version 1.2.16. Stripe payment is not working. System doesn't allow for credit card number entry. Called Stripe today. They said that part of the attempts are coming through but the process is missing the Card Type (i.e., VISA, Mastercard, etc.) The box for the number is exactly like your picture... which offers the customer no way to ever enter their credit card number. Stripe has the code to add to Abantecart but I don't know where to put it to correct the problem.

I just Paid $39 to Abantecart for Advanced Stripe Payment Gateway 3D Secure hoping it would solve this problem. It didn't fix it!

I just contacted Abantecart to see if they know that Stripe isn't working with the new version. Until I hear back I will likely turn off Stripe until the issue is resolved.
