Yes, this is technically possible. AbanteCart already stores the product's last-modified date and time, and standard product imports update this value, so no database changes are needed. A code change or extension would be required to display it as column in the Products grid.

You will need to add the download file under Products Files for the product. After adding it, click the Push button so that customers with existing eligible orders can also see and download the file.

You cannot simply upload the file by FTP and have AbanteCart automatically recognize it as a product download. However, there is a third-party extension that may help with it https://marketplace.abantecart.com/auto_downloads

The upgrade sql file is available once you unarchive the upgrade package. You can download the package from the GitHub release page: https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/releases. 
Please ensure you update the database prefix to match your configuration.

Could you first confirm the version? You wrote AbanteCart 1.1.4. Did you perhaps mean 1.4.4?

To help diagnose the issue, could you also provide a bit more information?

Please paste the latest entries from system/logs/error.log (or the latest log file under system/logs/).
Which Windows version are you using?
Which XAMPP version are you running?
Is your XAMPP using Apache or Nginx as the web server?

The error log and these environment details should help identify the problem.
