I searched the site and didn't see a similar situation. I am having an issue with the way tax is added to shipping. I've tried a few things with Order Calculation but can't seem to get the cart to behave the way I want / need. Shipping is taxed in my state but the tax is being added to the shipping cost instead of to the tax field. I need the shipping to show the actual shipping amount without the tax but still include it in the calculation. See example for clarification.

The way it is now:
Sub-Total:     $115.30
Shipping:      $10.55 (9.95 + tax)
Sales Tax:     $6.92
Total:           $132.77

The way I need it to work so it doesn't cause issues when the order is entered into our ERP:
Sub-Total:     $115.30
Shipping:      $9.95
Sales Tax:     $7.52
Total:           $132.77

I would have to create thousands of products twice. I would rather edit a few lines of code and have it do what I want. I just don't know which lines of code control the price display while logged in.

Normally I would try not to edit the .tpl files but the cart does not have the feature I want by default. I have 2 stores with different price levels. Both stores show Retail pricing when not logged in but I want to display the "discount" price from the Promotions section when logged into the "Dealer" version of the store. I know that can be done with "special" but that adds other things that I don't want.

Coming back around to this again.

Could someone please point out what part of product_listing.tpl would need to be edited to get the correct group discount pricing to display on both the category page and the product page?

I know that I could make the price a special instead of a discount but that automatically puts them on the Specials page and shows the "Sale" text which I don't want.

The lowest-cost option must be prioritized.

Unfortunately, that did not work. I set the "Specials" price with a priority of 0 and the "Discounts" price with a priority of 1 and the "Discounts" price still overrode the "Specials". I'll have to stick with the workaround for now.

If you're using the latest version of AbanteCart, both Discounts and Specials now have their own independent start and end dates, so you can control when each applies without needing to manually disable one or the other.

Thanks for the response. What I was hoping for was a way to have the Discounts active all the time but the Specials override it while they are active. It sounds like that cannot be the case and the only way is the workaround I mentioned. Is that correct?

Perhaps I have something set up wrong but I am having an issue with Promotions. I have retail pricing, dealer pricing, and special dealer pricing on some items. The retail pricing shows the correct special price for dealers but it appears that the "Discounts" section is overriding the "Specials" section. Is the only way to correct this to set the start date of the regular dealer discount for after the special ends?

Is there any way to format the information in the blurb on the product information page so that it does not show HTML code in List view? I was able to use <br> tags to break up the information on the product view page but when on a category page in list view, the <br> tags show as text and the blurb is not formatted correctly.

I've done searching and come across a few threads but so far I have not been able to search by model from the top search bar. You have to go into the search and check the box. All of the suggestions don't affect the search functionality. If it matters, I'm using the Novator template. Any other suggestions?
