Title: Appearance Problems

Quick question: I'm setting up the new site but I've noticed the look of the site to the old one is very different.
as in the Width is stretched & doesn't seem to be right and i can't find where to fix it.

Heres the Old Look: sildamax.eu
As you will see the Slide show is stretches across the full length of site including the footer area and every think else is centered like Featured Products and so on...
I'm trying to get that same look on here: sildamax.eu/test/

But as you will see every think is stretched

On the old site width is set to 100% 1000px
I've done the same on the new site but the look is very stretched when i turn down the percentage on the new site it centres every think including, slideshow, footer, and header which i don't want it to do.


If you could help with this issue i would be very grateful.

Hi.

This is not an issue. In latest version for some reason AbanteCart developer team change template a bit to work in this way.
You need to modify template code manually for your requirements

is there any chance you no the changes i would have to make to change it?

Even the Abantecart main site has it setup how i kinda want it :(

You sure it's not your browser somehow
I just made a screen shot on your /test site on a Firefox browers and it looks correct  see attached

I don't think its my browser, only reason i say that is look at this version: sildamax.eu <== ( how i want it to look ) and then look at this version: sildamax.eu/test <== Doesn't look the same :(

I'm surprised they didn't add a feature where you can change back to the older look or some type of resizing tool

what width set in admin menu system->settings->appearance->select template in dropdown at the heading -> "Storefront width" ?

I like the way the way your site looks with it partially narrowed down (the one you prefer).  I'm using Abantecart 1.2.2 and the site I'm working on is wide like the one you don't like but it's been that way since I started (version 1.2.2).

I would also like to try  the style you prefer but since reading your original post I tried to find the appropriate setting and haven't figured it out.

Did you upgrade your version of Abantecart for this to happen?

Please let us know if/how you do get it back to the way you like.
