Support / Adding a facebook like button

Hi all,
I'm having a bit of problem in adding the facebook like button code to a product page, it just will not show live on the website, even when I am trying all the different codes supplies to add to the website? Any idea's anyone?

Configuration / Actual website and mysql database

Hi all,

ok here goes, hope I write this properly so you guys understand. My AbanteCart cart website which I have now made changes to suit my needs ie, colors pages products etc is running just fine. Now I have a friend who wants the exactly the same website layout like mine but to add his own products in. He wants it on my server in a sub folder which is no problem, so what I have done is copied my MySQL database and created and added it to a new MySQL database no problem, no errors or anything. Then I simply copied all the contents of my AbanteCart cart installation into his subfolder which is no problem. The site works fine apart from any pages that I created as extra pages (not in the default install script) or the layout pages how I have them is not showing the same as mine in his subfolder installation when testing live?  I don't get it? if I have copied exactly everything from my website to his folder how come it does not load all the new content I created on mine. Sorry if this sounds confusing, I've tried to explain the best I can.

Hi all,

my question is after I have created some Global Attributes and added the Attribute to a product in the product options section, I then assigned some images to each option that is listed from the global attribute list, but I can not for the life in me find out how I delete the images assigned to each option. (SEE IMAGE ATTACHED)

Any Idea's

Customization help / Social media icons Default HTML5 template (how to change)

Hi Guys,

saw a few posts on here about the social icons on AbanteCart Cart script. Now this may not be the easiest way to do this but it has worked for me.

The social icons for the default HTML5 are located in STOREFRONT/VIEW/DEFAULT_HTML5/IMAGE/footericon.png

Take a look at the attachments and you will see how I have changed the social icons from grey to colorful ones. Once you have edited the social icons image re upload it to your server and you should see the new effects immediately.

Now reference to What social icons you wish to be displayed take a look at attachment as it shows you the code that displays the social icons. To get to this code login to your website admin and go to DESIGN/BLOCKS and search for the social icons Html_block. Click on edit and you can remove coding to display whatever icons you wish to display and change the links if you so wish.

Templates / Socila Icons in HTML Block

Hi,
Could the social icons that are default with AbanteCart Cart be changed to  more colorful social icons by using my own images. I just can not seem to locate the social icon images in any folders to change them for my own. In the Html block for the social icons it does not show any location as to where these icons are.  Any guidance on where these social icons are located in the AbanteCart Cart folders would be great.

General Support / The uploading file resource area

my question is referring to the uploading of files as a downloadable product. If I have in the download resources files I no longer wish to be there how do I delete them from the resource window? Please see attached image.

Installation and Configuration / Disable the telephone number section in the admin - system information section

Hi All.

Hopefully I have put this in the right thread. Ok, when you are logged in as Admin to the AbanteCart Cart website script you can go to SYSTEM/DETAILS and enter all your site information there, is there anyway to disable the TELEPHONE NUMBER section under the ADDRESS/EMAIL section in the details page.

I would only like to show the address and email when the site is livel?  (PICTURE ATTACHED)

Template Support / Remove address and telephone code in Default_Html5 coding

Hi all,

Is there anyway to disable the address and telephone number showing on the live AbanteCart Cart site once installed on my server? I see in admin - system that the address and telephone sections are followed by the red astrix  which means must be completed, but just wondering if I could remove these two options please?

Template Support / default html5 slider and colors

Hi Guys,

I wanted to change the html5 slider images and colors which was quite easy, but found that they did not blend with the actual slider color. So here is the solution.
Go to folders STOREFRONT - VIEW - DEFAULT_HTML5 - STYLESHEET - ONEBYONE and on line 139 change that color code to the same as your banner colors. SEE ATTACHEMENTS

Hi,
I have seen a few posts asking how to change the color in the header section of the AbanteCart website. If you go to folders STOREFRONT - VIEW - DEFAULT_HTML5 - STYLESHEET - STYLE and then on line 467 you will need to change the color code there. SEE ATTACHMENT
