General Support / Re: Google Analytics
« on: November 04, 2015, 01:36:28 PM »
Hi All,

I want to add google analytics to my website, I need to paste google code before the closing </head> tag on every page.
Where can I find it.

I found this great tutorial on how to get Google Analytics easily installed within your installation of AbanteCart. SUPER easy.

If you have abantecart in sub directory, please read instructions inside .htaccess file:

# 3. Edit file .htaccess. If abantecart is installed in yourdomain/ subfolder change configuration line  RewriteBase /  to  RewriteBase /subfolder/.
# Example:   use RewriteBase/store/
# Important to have / at the end of the line.

This doesn't work for me... Your specific example seems to be missing a much need space(" ") between 'RewriteBase' and the 'subfolder'.
It should be: "RewriteBase /subfolder/" NOT "RewriteBase/subfolder/"

Support / Login System Not Working
« on: October 21, 2015, 06:17:52 PM »
I am having an issue with AbanteCart on one of my websites - For some reason the login keeps telling me the passwords are incorrect when trying to login. I've gona in to the admin area and changed the passwords for my test accounts and then logged out and tried to log back in with the new password and it STILL tells me the password is incorrect. I went through the Forgot Password process and it emailed me a new password and even that one doesn't work.

I would like to know why this isnt working... How can I be the only one with this issue? This entire shopping cart is useless without a working login system.

I am having a similar issue here - I have setup "SEO-Friendly" URLs and they are working if I am clicking on products from my store page index BUT - If I copy/paste the "embed product" code and then paste somewhere else on my website it does not give me the seo-friendly url for the link source. It actually uses the data attribute tag to pass the product id in a url string to the index page. Is there any way to get the SEO-Firendly version of the url passed into the embed code?
