Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Please provide result of
# ls -lua
in folder your site.

please provide path to that folder. i am new to AbanteCart and not familiar with it folder names. i did a search in cpanel and did not find that specific folder
-
You should see folders like in screenshot (without "install" )

ok i see those folders (see attached all folders in directory) is # ls -lua an abbreviation for a folder or file.....I must be missing something because it does not come up in a search :-[

i may have spoken to soon - i added info in the htaccess.text file and the 403 error stopped but now i just get "page not found message"
i will try you steps you suggested above

ok, i have narrowed down my issue. the issue seems to be with "text" banners.
I can add images to "graphic" banners and they will display on the home page. However when it comes to "Text banners i am limited to the a limit of 5 and cannot add images. In order for me to create a new text banner i need to disable one of the existing "text" banners. When i add an image to a text banner and save i get the following message -THE PAGE YOU REQUESTED CANNOT BE FOUND! and it does not save the new or revised content of that banner.
So my question is how can I increase the # of text banners and how can i add images to text banners.

found out it was a issue with the server. they whitelisted for me and now it is corrected
from hosting provider
