Hi,
Where can I find a Blog extension or blog module for AbanteCart ?
Nowadays a Blog needs to be there for a webshop.
Is it possible to buy a blog extension for AbanteCart ?
I could not find anything with google so,
A self hosted Blog is not the worlds most complicated software, is it possible
to integrate a bunch of blog code in one of the code blocks inside
AbanteCart ?

You can try to set up multistore for AbanteCart (http://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-documentation/71-admin-user-manual/system/multistore-set-up):
one store will be with products to sell online
second will be the blog to publish news. In the Admin-Design-Content you can publish your news articles by selecting second store to display your articles. Each store has own domain or subdomain and template (with different layout etc) both stores managed from one admin front.
Please note: this is not one click solution. You need to modify second (aka blog) store for you needs (possibly template or some code changes). This is just idea. Hope this help you somehow

I am actually looking for this feature too. I like to add a "blog" section to my store. Can we request to have this added to AbanteCart as a core component?
Currently, there is a Content area but the way it is structured, it's not blog friendly...and, it wouldn't scale over time.

I'm also looking for this.
I have many years trying to start my own website , abantecart is perfect , quick, easy , even for a novice like me .... But the only way to sell products are social networks and this associated with a blog. I think even that would pay for abantecart there a module that integrates a blog as on Prestashop ... I tried Prestashop, is very good; but abantecart load much faster and that is very important for sales.......So we can pay between several to lower the cost of the module and support the future sale of the module

There are many different blog software already available - and just like all the different things people want the ecommerce software to do - everyone has a different idea about what/how a blog should work.
The best solution IMO is choose an exisiting blog app install it in something like yourdomain.com/blog or a subdomain like blog.yourdomain.com .
Then place a link on your shopping cart menu, categories, or an added html block (lots of ways to do it) that sends your folks there.
Explore this as a solution for your desires - I believe you will find it quite easy to do.
