Hi Guys,

I have a real big problem which hopefully someone will be able to help me solve. I have a customer who has ordered at least 40 downloadable products but in there account area on the download tab it shows as having 40 items for download but when the download area is accessed it only shows 20 download items. I have gone through system settings to see if there is any option to show more downloads in a customers area, but I see nothing. Can anyone please help with this problem?

Hi all,
I seem to be having a problem with the new account setup. When I get a new account registering AbanteCart sends out the activate account emails just fine, but when the customer clicks the activate account they still can not login. I have checked the customer status in admin settings and the accounts still have to be switched on manually. Am I missing something here in the settings that I should enable for new accounts?

Hi All, I am looking to change the text colour which is displayed on the footer that shows the content menu tabs. At the moment I see that the default  is a GREY and hover over is WHITE. I have looked in the stylesheet but just can not seem to find where I would define colours for these text links showing in the footer area. Any ideas on the location please?

Hi again,

I have just checked in admin area settings "appearance" and noticed there are 2 template options "default" & "default html5" I have always had it set on default html5 and it has worked perfectly. So, I have done a test and changed the template to default and tried the customer account download area and it has worked, it is showing the download button text, but the template layout is terrible it is not a neatly laid out like the default html5 template. Any ideas on how to get the default html5 working correctly would be great. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGES)

thanks for the reply. I have checked admin area "settings" and the allow downloads are on (see attachment). I'm not sure what you mean by the template thing though?

Managed to re install the most current version of Abantecart back to how it was for me. In answer to is the customer area download text missing in other browsers, the answer is yes. I have checked on browers IE 11 and Google chrome.

Hi,

unfortunately I am unable to check that now as I have done a full server restore back to my AbanteCart version 1.1.9 and all is working fine now. It is beyond me why AbanteCart release these version upgrades when there are possible errors in them. I am in the process of building my own website to sell my designs on and eventually doing away with AbanteCart. It's too risky to be loosing business because of faulty upgrades. I wish AbanteCart all the best for the future but I wont be using there free software anymore.

Hi all,

To rectify my problem of not seeing my Abantecart admin login page as it was just a blank white screen on the 1.1.9 version, I simply uploaded the contents of the core folder from my pc to replace the core folder contents of my Abantecart 1.1.9 on my server and all worked just fine again. Hope this helps anyone else out with the same problem.

Hi all,
I have recently had to restore my server from a March 2015 backup and upon completion my website is up and running but when I go to the admin page to login it is just showing a blank page, no login box. Now my server people have sent me an email saying server restore was successful and also added this comment in the email "note that if the restored website(s) is not working properly or even opens completely different site, - this is normal, and you don't need to worry. This is due to a new IP assigned to the site and it will start working normally in several hours."

I am hoping this is why I do not see a login page. Could anyone put my mind at ease and maybe this is why I do not see any login page?

Hi,

ok, in my admin area of abantecart I located that I did the upgrade from 1.19 version to the current version of abantecart. So, I have located a file which I have downloaded to my computer from my server in admin/system/backups manual backup 2015-1-17-13-46-17 From this file I am assuming abantecart did this backup before I upgraded to the most current version. Ok, so in this file there are 2 folders (data) & (code) the data folder holds the file (dump.sql) so I have gone through the process in abantecart restore using this dump.sql file to be confronted with a critical error message (SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT) Yet, I am still able to log back into admin but nothing has changed to my abantecart as it is still the most current version? Any ideas please?
