Customization help / Toggles in description -

Greetings - is there a way to put toggles in the description content?  Here is an example of what I mean:

Have some new items to put up for sale but the description is very very long and will not be good as a solid block of text.

General Support / Sitewide Music Player

Greetings and nearly Merry Christmas,

I had installed the SCM player ( and embeded the code in a block which gave me a player that followed the user without the page refresh, so the music was uninteruppted during the site navigation.  The problem I had in using this was the final step in checkout was not working - upon clicking on "confirm order" the order information and customer browser were not forwarded to PayPal, just sits on that page. 

Following is the code (with only one song listed) - any ideas on how I can integrate this player into my AbanteCart?  Or, any suggestions regarding other sitewide players that would work with AC?

Does "order status" on system > settings > checkout  need to be the same as  "Download Order Status" in system > settings > general  in order to ensure that digital products are available immediately after payment?  I do require that digital goods be available right away but of course the tangible goods will ship.

General Support / Tax added before verification of location, shows in cart

I have my products taxable and my settings are to charge tax ONLY to one state in the US.  When adding a product to the cart (even not logged in) the view cart feature shows the product with tax added to it, even though it should not.  When logging in the tax still shows but when beginning the checkout process the tax is not part of the price throughout the checkout process.  Basically the problem is when an item is added to cart it shows with tax even though it doesn't charge it. 

Any thoughts on this?

General Support / How can I reset the number of downloads for a customer

Good day - I have a customer that has attempted to download a digital product.  I have set the download to allow for 2 times but I guess she messed up twice - - now she has 0 available - how do I allow her to download again? 


Good day - I have encountered a problem that when a customer puts more than one download in the basket shipping is charged.  I double checked that both the downloads had "requires shipping" turned to OFF

I'm using Algo Zone's "Price Based Shipping" extension and don't see any problem there either. 

Any guidance with this problem please?  Just had a sale of two downloads and the shipping was charged - refunding it but really need to fix this.

General Support / RESOLVED: Bulk add products to additional category

Greetings - I have the need to add 70+ items from a category to another category so they will show in both.  I know that I can go to each one and add the category where I'd like to add them but could not find a way to do this in bulk - possible?

General Support / PayPal Instant Payment Notification Warning

Good Morning (in the US Southwest anyway) - got a notice from PayPal that has the subject line "PayPal Instant Payment Notification Warning" and says:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

Couple weeks ago installed an SSL cert - would using http:// instead of https:// cause this message to be generated?  Still get order notification - what is the best way to address this please if someone has the answer.

General Support / Critical Error re language code - need help in fixing

Today I got the following error in message manager:

Error! Default language with code "en" is not available or disabled. Loading English language to keep system operating. Check your settings for default language. in /home/*****/public_html/core/engine/language.php on line 279

These are lines 276 - 280 but don't know how to proceed - would appreciate a hand please.

General Support / SSL and admin section

Good day everybody

I installed an SSL cert and changing AbanteCart over to use SSL took all of 30 seconds and front end works perfectly - thank you for such a clean job of that function. 

I note that my admin section is not under SSL - am I missing something (once again LOL)?  I'd like to have it secured as well. 

Also, I have heard from a couple other people that after cert was installed they could not enter admin area - is there some work around in such cases?  I saw a couple of posts but didn't really apply.

General Support / SOLVED: Cannot find how to set favicon

Good Morning - I am not able to find where I setup my favicon.  Did a search in admin and found nothing there and did a search here on the forums and found only posts from 2012 relating to template 512.  Using 1.1.7 and HTML 5 template.  I'm pretty sure that I'm missing something that must be obvious.

General Support / Possible for line breaks in reviews?

Good Day - I'm wondering if it is possible to allow for line breaks in reviews that are published.  It is understood that HTML is not translated which is fine, but I'm wondering if I could get the final review to look like the simple text with line breaks.  Please see screenshots.

General Support / Subscribe to newsletter as default on registration page

Good Morning,

When a customer subscribes they have an option to subscribe or not to the newsletter - I would like the "yes" checkbox to have a check in it as default - possible?
