If language was already loaded in the database before, new text key might not be picked up.
Try to do the following:

1. Delete all text entries for english/account/newsletter in the admin language definition section (or database)
2. clear language cache.

This should resolve the issue.

What do you mean by " leaving only one purchase button"? What is the other purchase button?
Do you want to redirect purchase to external sites for some products?

Looks like some CSS files are not loaded for fontawesome.
Do you use CDN?
Open your browser with the develop option on the network. See of all resources are loaded and there are no errors.

What is a version of your AbanteCart?

Based on the classes col-sm-4 and col-sm-7 and min-width:240px; the imputes field should not be small.

Did you try to inspect HTML/CSS possibly some element is getting in a way?
