Title: Region/State field in edit customer-> customer details reverts to "none"

Hi all,
when I have a customer record and I view data, the Region/State field shows "none". When I select the appropriate Region and save, it shows "none" again when I look at the record again. All other data are properly saved. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I am running AbanteCart 1.1.5. Was going to upgrade to 1.1.6, but am currently getting the error re: permissions in extensions folder being incorrect.

This is for Canada. None of the provinces stick when selected.
