General Discussion / Scope of the "Shopping Cart Operations" forum section?

Hi,

Quite often, I am not sure about in which section of the forum should I post a question.

Especially, which questions should go in the section "Shopping Cart Operations" and which ones in "eCommerce construction" section.

In the strict sense, a shopping cart is made of what a visitor puts in the basket, so that I wonder if the section "Shopping Cart Operation" is reserved to questions about this specific part of the eCommerce system.

On the other hand, the section "eCommerce construction" seems to be more oriented towards installation, templates and embedding issues. Isn't it?

So, can you please clarify the scope of the "Shipping Cart Operations" section, and which kind of questions should better go in "eCommerce construction"?

And for the later, can you also please clarify when to use the subsections "How to questions" vs "General Discussion"?

Hi, The changes for 2 col.thumbnail in mobile view
 suggested is working in default theme not in BOOTSTRAP5 theme.
Only the problem is both thumbnails in one column not in same size. Rest is fine.
But I am using Bootstrap5 as a default theme in which the suggested change in code is not working. The code is changed from '    <div cls="coasl-12 col-sm-9 d-flex flex-column"> ' to <div class="col-lg-3 col-md-4 col-sm-6 col-xs-6"> location public_html/extention/bootstrap5/storefront/view/bootstarp5/template/blocks/  and in pages .
Can you please advise me 2 column product thumbnail/image on mobile views for BOOTSTRAP5 theme.
Am not studied any coding or like this. whatever doing on hit & trial basis and going to launch an online shopping portal every thing is set so request you please advise accordingly.

Hi core devs,

I have a folder that contains uploaded files that was placed under extension folder (extension_name/files), and i want to move the folder and files to a new location (under image folder) during upgrading the extension.

But when i try to upgrade the extension, i found out that the folder is removed.

Is there a way to copy the file and the folder to a new location during the upgrade routine so they are not removed?

I got that working, it was the language ID that was different from my live site,  the only thing that is not translated is in the Menu -> Login and Check your order,

I already deleted and created new links, in english everything is ok but in portuguese the links work but the text doesnt show up.
