Hi Guys

I seem to be having an issues with weight based shipping plugin where it is double taxing

Hello.
Clean the AbanteCart cache and add the product to the cart again to make sure your latest changes in the Weight based shipping configuration are applied.
If you see the issue please provide more details like Tax total configuration and expected results

So clearing cache did not work

The issue is confirmed.
Please follow GitHub bug tracker https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/issues/1519

You may disable Display Prices With Tax setting to temporary resolve it

This still seems to be adding tax twice copied the newer extension over
