Have tried to enable both of these modules. Have set the free shipping on condition as only more than $100 purchase in goods else should charge for $7 as flat rate.

2. The flat rate shipping rate is displayed as a choice for those eligible for free shipping. So there are two buttons for customer to select. Can't we only show free shipping?

You can not show only free shopping in this case.

3. If the flat rate is applied only to specific zone or location, no matter the purchase is above $100 or less, the flat rate button is not shown. So if the purchase is below $100, no shipping method selection button is shown so the customer cannot proceed to pay...I would like to set up diff zone for diff flat rate charges.

In AbanteCart 1.1.1 on my side flat rate shown for any location. What is your Abantecart version?

There are no compatibility issues that we know of.
I checked your site in Iphone and it looks and works great. No error I can see.

but i have only 2 categories on the website and i need to add about 20 more categories, it is a way to enter this categories (easy way)?

Go to System-Data-Import&export select in the Export Tab Categories and CSV File Format (Tab delimeted). Cick Export button.
open file with OpenOffice or Microsoft excell insert new column at the start, name it action. Then insert new rows with categories similar to alreadty exiting and for each new row type insert in action colum. Then Import this file to Your system.

Please, backup your database and files before any import especially on live stores

1. I have identified that there is an issue with the totals & tax calculation in the Parcelforce shipping extension. 1.04 works fine with Citylink which is essantially the same extension with different wording to the parcelforce one.

e.g: This is a copy of what happens with parcelforcetotals

Sub-Total: £8.29
Parcelforce 48 (Weight: 0.23kg) (Estimated Time: Within 48 Hours): £1.00
UK Vat 20%: £1.86
Total: £11.15

the subtotal (£8.29) shows as an ex tax price which is correct
However the shipping cost is added as a tax inclusive price into the total, this is not correct.
Also the price shown for shipping before it gets added into totals is not the correct value either. Please note that this is only with Parcelforce and works as it should do with citylink.
Please note that I have set vat values for local tax & need to show correct totals & charge correct amount of tax. Most important!

If You dont want to add shipping cost as a tax, go to Parcelforce settings and set Tax Class: to -none-.
Note: Changes will be visible only when shipping requoted (remove products from cart and add to cart again to start new checkout process)

What is your AbanteCart version?
After enable rus language in System - Localization- Languages did You see russian laguage in languages dropdown menu (in header)?

Also if set default language in System-Setting to rus changes will be visible for new sessions only.

[Weight Based Shipping]

Right, what the problem is this time is that I cannot get shipping working. I want it to change depending on the weight.
I have added UK to the Locations, with the Zones. I have enabled Royal Mail and Weight Based Shipping shipping but when I do a test for Checkout it just displays "Error: No Shipping options are available. Please contact us for assistance!"

Everything is set to Location: UK and it is all Enabled

I have PayPal set to Location: UK and that shows fine. But its just the shipping that doesnt.

I dont know where I am going wrong.

Please help me

I just check with in AbanteCart v1.0.4 and it works fine on my side.
few questions:
* when You enable Weight Based Shipping did you setup rates for UK in Additional Settings?


* when You enable Royal Mail did You select any Royal Mail servises?

* your products have Requires Shipping enabled setting? and weight?

* when checkout did You use correct Uk address?

Hi. Do You mean 'SEO Keyword' fileld problem? It is already fixed in AbanteCart next realise version.
If Not - please provide more details.

However yes, as for the Indian Rupee. yes I selected INR as the Default currency for the store. and then deleted the remaining currencies. still i faced the issue, on first order (the amount went from 22k to 22 only)

I am just check this and cannot replicate on latest 1.0.2 version

Try to clear abantecart cache (Admin-System-Cache) then Logout from admin panel and login again.

The "price textbox" this is a bug and it will be fixed in ABanteCart 1.0.3 version.
About the currencies - did You set Indian Rupee as default currency before delete all others?
