Hello,

We have an anti-spam module that filters out 80–90% of spam posts, sometimes blocking up to 400 spam posts per day.

Hello,
Are there any errors in the AbanteCart error log? Also, could you try clearing the AbanteCart cache and see if that resolves the issue?

Hello,
Since you have access to the files on the new hosting account, you can find the unique admin key directly in your AbanteCart configuration file.
Open: system/config.php

and look for this line:
define('ADMIN_PATH', 'your_admin_key');

The value inside the quotes is your unique admin key.
For example, if you have:
define('ADMIN_PATH', 'mysecretadmin');

then you would access the admin login at: https://yourdomain.com/index.php?s=mysecretadmin

AbanteCart uses this unique key instead of a standard /admin/ URL for additional security. This is also covered in the documentation here:

https://abantecart.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/3932161/Most+Common+Settings

Since the site was moved to a different hosting setup, if the correct admin URL still does not work, there could also be an issue with redirects, .htaccess, domain configuration, or the way the site was migrated.

If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the server/migration side yourself, there is always the option to ask a developer for help. For example, AbanteCart managed services are available here:

https://managed.abantecart.com/

They can help with migration and getting the store/admin access working correctly.

Hello.
If you're using the latest version of AbanteCart, the "SALE" label can be changed in the admin language definitions using the key text_badge_sale.

Quote from: badmouse on September 25, 2026, 01:32:40 PMI tried to UPGRADE to 1.4.2 (Im currently on 1.4.1), and it gives me this Error:
There has been a critical error processing your request
Please check AbanteCart and webserver error logs for more details. You can check error log in the control panel if it is functional. Otherwise, refer to error log located on your web server

Im not seeing anything in my error log on the web server.

Hello. Have you checked the server logs and the AbanteCart logs?

Hello,

The import supports both creating new products and updating existing products from the same file. Therefore, the CSV structure requires a Name column.

Hello.
Yes, it is possible to develop such a feature.

Hello.
That Firefox warning usually means there's a problem with the SSL certificate on the site.
Try opening your store with https:// in front of the domain. If Firefox still shows the warning, the SSL certificate may be missing, expired, or not set up for the correct domain.

If your hosting has cPanel or Plesk, look for SSL or Lets Encrypt, many hosts provide a free certificate there.

Quote from: timlight10 on July 02, 2026, 01:03:52 PMI'd be willing to make a donation to get this feature added to AbanteCart. Please advise.

Sorry for the delay. We looked into this in more detail.

We can develop this feature, so Contact Us enquiries can be sent to a separate email address or ticket system without changing the store's main email.

Estimated cost would be $450–$600 USD, depending on the final requirements

Hello.
Are you sure this is actually happening, or are you assuming this is how the import works?

Hello.
Thanks for bringing this up. We are aware of the issue with menus in multi-store setups and will try to improve this in the next version.

Hello,
Please check that your store URL is configured correctly in AbanteCart and that you're accessing the store using the same URL and HTTPS.

For example, if the store is configured as https://www.site.com but you visit it as http://site.com, this may cause image-loading issues. Setting up the proper redirects to HTTPS and the correct www/non-www version may help.

Also, do you see any recent errors in the AbanteCart error log that might be related to the images?

Hello.
We're aware of the issue and are working to restore full access as soon as possible. Thank you for letting us know!

Hello. Does issue persist after implementing https://forum.abantecart.com/index.php/topic,12107.msg44936.html#msg44936? Did you refer to thumbnails or resources images?

Hello.
Have you installed and enabled the dev tools extension?
