« on: January 20, 2015, 12:35:47 AM »I just added a new product to my shopping cart. As always, I test the page to make sure everything is okay. The product page looks fine except that the item is not showing in any of the Category pages.

In AbanteCart we have separate settings for each payment method (check each payment you use) and in Admin-System-Settings-Checkout Tab
Did you click confirm order button when checkout?

« on: January 19, 2015, 02:21:21 AM »as a customer when i create a new account the notification comes to the customer but not as a store owner. basically the store owner doesnt get any notifications at all through email
Check your AbanteCart settings. To receive email notification about new order your need to turn ON Alert Mail setting in Admin-System- Settings-Mail
The email notification for new user will work only if you have Approve New Customers setting ON
