Title: How do I remove clutter on index page?

I don't want the feature rich smart UI block.  I don't want any of the free shipping boxes.  I don't want the featured banner.  I don't want making commerce better for everyone.  I don't want the brands scrolling list.  I don't want what clients say about us.  Everything else is fine.

hi!

What ever you want to add or remove all you can find in one place.
 in your admin dashboard go to: Design > Layouts and there you can add or remove any block you see. you can turn off or turn on or delete them as you want.

I went to the layout page and clicked on every single power button icon and everyone went light as if to indicated disabled.  Then I hit the save icon near the top of the page.  Then I went to look at the page and not a single thing was removed.

Hello. Please ensure that you have selected the active template and the Home page layout.
