This issue has been there for years, and no one is solving it.
1. If you only want to buy extended support for extensions you bought before and to get new upgrades, the marketplace system forces you to buy the whole package all over again.
2. If you just select extended support option, you cannot check out.
Can someone fix this?
Seems you aren't going about it correctly .
Step 1 log into your Marketplace account and find the extension you want to update. Click on the GET Help button
Step 2 That will take you to the Product Support Page click on the Extend Support button.
Step 3 That will open the extension page and you will see the Extended Support for 12 month and the support price.
Step 4 continue and it will add that item to your cart.
Thanks, but you proposed process does not work.
1. For example, the extended support for gift card extension is $7.50/year
2. You check the box but then the system asks to select for which domain.
3. Yous select the domain and inside the cart it adds bot the new license fee and the extended support.
4. At the cart checkout it only shows new license fee which you have already paid for but doesn't even show extended support which si what you are trying to purchase.
YOU CAN NOT JUST buy only extended support.
try yourself.
here at the checkout, it combined both extended support price and forcing you to rebuy the entire license again.
Or maybe you do not understand my original question.
1. If one has purchased the extension already, are you saying you have to rebuy the entire extension all over again to get the new version of the same extension?
If that is the case, then this whole extension business is a complete scam.
