Title: Category used to provide information NO Products and deleting a customer
Post by: johnsma2000 on January 09, 2026, 12:15:37 AM
I have created a Category, that appears in my Menu bar, to provide information in the description field that I want displayed on the website for customers to glean information. The category displays in the menu bar and the information displays as I want, with NO Products. However, directly below the information is "There are no products in this category." Is there a way to turn this statement OFF? If not, where do I find this statement text and attributes to change the font color to the background color to make it disappear?

The other issue is: How do I delete a customer that is clearly a scam. All fields were clearly filled out by a computer with crazy entries (oewipt98ypq3476tuh;ofhpiu) kind of stuff. I disapproved the customer but can't figure out how to actually delete the entry in case it is an AI bug attempt.

Thanks in advance for your help or suggestions.

Hello.
Categories are meant to list products, so AbanteCart shows the "There are no products in this category." message when none are assigned. If you want an info-only page, create it under Design > Content and add it to your menu. Otherwise, you can change that message in Language Definitions (search for the phrase and edit it).

To delete the scam customer: Admin > Sales > Customers, select the customer, then click Remove.
