Hello, I'm trying to input a disclosure message on the button of my site - I try footer block > storefront it wont add anything is the another way?
brrr... i'm not sure that i understood but you can try to add new block in layout. go to design->layout, choose layout. click button create block and fill fields for custom html-block. is it?

To put some text first create HTML block with needed text see manual (http://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-documentation/42-admin-user-manual/design/blocks-user-manual/115-html-block)
Then enable this block in Admin->Design->Layouts in the footer of all Layouts
