Good day - I have encountered a problem that when a customer puts more than one download in the basket shipping is charged. I double checked that both the downloads had "requires shipping" turned to OFF
I'm using Algo Zone's "Price Based Shipping" extension and don't see any problem there either.
Any guidance with this problem please? Just had a sale of two downloads and the shipping was charged - refunding it but really need to fix this.
All the best

I turned off "Shipping and Tax Estimate" and that eliminated the problem from what I can see. Would like to have the estimate feature back on but there may be a conflict between the estimate feature and the "fixed price shipping" module? When both tangible and digital goods are chosen the shipping charges are in sync with the extension so that's good.
That's what I got so far - if there is anyone that can help me get the estimate feature back on then that would be a sweet hookup!
Thanks again for all the support

I see your point. I think we will need to address this at some point in case of mixed products.

Thank you. For the time being I have fixed it by turning off the estimate feature as mentioned.

Good day - well, I've turned on the tax estimate feature again and tested but with the same results - when adding both digital and tangible good the whole subtotal is charged shipping - - when adding only digital goods shipping is not charged - - could it possibly be the "price based shipping" extension? I don't see any settings there that would affect this but maybe I'm wrong.
Somehow the cart recognizes the digital goods and does not charge shipping BUT when mixed with tangible goods charges on the whole order rather than only the tangibles. Getting a bit messy.
Anyone have any ideas? Would really appreciate it.
Thanks much
Ron
