Hi,
Sorry if I bump in with so many questions, but things are not yet clear and could not find a solution here yet.
For example ... could you please explain to me how is the extension supposed to calculate prices ?!?
You say: Rates: - Example: 5:12.50,10:20.00 Weight:Cost,Weight:Cost, etc.
So are the 12.50 valid for all weight bellow 5g (or kg, however the setting) or for the 5g weight ONLY?
It does not say anywhere, so I wonder if I only define 5:12.50,10:20.00 what happens for ex for a weight of 6g, 6,5g, 7g etc.?!?
Thank you

Did you look at the manual?
http://docs.abantecart.com/pages/ship_and_pay/shippings/weight_based.html
This list works as a range. Any value before given weight will use set price.

Hi Ecommerce,
Just another user comment - don't be offended. Since Cookie sited the examples as seen in the documentation asking if she looked at the manuals was terse.
In reading the documentation it is NOT stated that this is a range and is unclear as to how this option works, We do understand that getting all the information in a manual is quite a job. But quite often because of the shortness of the documentation one spends a lot of time testing out configurations to see how they are structured. Then when we get an unexpected results it is more difficult to determine if it is because we don't understand the feature due to complete explantion or if we have configured incorrectly, or if there is an issue that needs to be addressed.
Thanks for listening to my small rant on the need for a bit better documentation.

I did look at the manual and searched here too but could not find any remark about the topic.
Thank you v.much for clarifying, it was important !
