Title: Version 1.1.7 (php version 5.3.16) - Can not change layout and blocks

Hello,

We installed the version 1.1.7. Unfortunately we cannot change the layout and the blocks!

For example: If we change the block "donate" to "nothing" and save the changes, this appears not in store front.

The php version is 5.3.16

Can you help us?

Make sure you're selecting the correct page to change in the left-hand menu under layouts. I had the same issue, but was changing All Other Pages and looking at the home page.

Choices are:

All Other Pages
Home Page
Checkout Page
Login Page
Default Product Page
Maintenance Page (leave all to none)
Customer Account Pages
Product page (s)

Default selection is All Other Pages...it's fooled me a few times.
