Title: How to change default terminologies used in AbanteCart
Post by: krishnakumar_ka on February 13, 2014, 07:19:17 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am designing a website for providing free educational programs and for selling professional courses. Abantecart's basic settings are for products selling. Since I am designing ecommerce site for selling services, I would like to change the following terminologies from the product details. Kindly help.

1. Instead of 'Manufacturer or Brand', 'University/College/Institute'
2. Replacing 'Availability' with 'Available seats'
3. Replacing 'Model no.' with 'Course Code'
4. In shopping cart changing 'items' to 'Courses/Program'
5. Deactivating the zoom facility over product images.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, I will try this. Though I am not a developer I have checked major open source softwares for ecommerce, personally I liked AbanteCart may be due to design and in search it came. But the only problem I found is less guidelines available regarding coding. Unfortunately I am not a developer, but a marketing person.

Let me try again installing Abantecart  :)

We have developer API. It requires improvment though. It is in the plan.
Since you are a marketing person, help our community to market the project :)
