Well, I just don't remember the fix for this and can't find a post on the board so I'll ask this.
See screenshot to notice a white border around the logo image - this happened after upgrading today - truthfully, had this issue when first did my test site but can't find the solution used to correct it - can anyone assist with this please?
logo dimensions: 296 x 71
URL: http://www.vishwagifts.com
Thanks in advance

Ron, I think it may be in the CSS, let me look and get back to you.
-
That would be super - I looked and couldn't find it in the CSS -- I know it's gotta be an easy fix - did it before but guess it got overwritten with the upgrade. I need to implement a system of documenting and saving the changes I make to core files - as Mr. Spock would say - "It's only logical."
-
I see nothing in the CSS, BUT it's set to 300px wide. Make sure your image is that wide or it may be filling it with white space around the edge.

Hi Ron,
documentation is great - makes up for our poor memories!- it's also a great thing to do with your OneNote! I know you've got it open - don't you?!?!

well, played with it one pixel at at time and got it now www.VishwaGifts.com --
Lee - you busted me, ain't got it open! Old dog ... gotta change my ways. Got a project I'm working on and the ones feeding me the info are so scatter brained about it that I thought to do a one note and lay out the whole thing before it gets outta hand!
Gonna get me some chow, downtime and snooze it up like an old hound dog.
Good to be in touch with all ya'll

I got rid of the standard logo altogether Ron, redid the header a little.

Here's a neat little tool that I like for helping with sizes -
http://www.pixelwindowapp.com/ (http://www.pixelwindowapp.com/)
It runs well on my XP, Win7 and Win8 systems - transparent so you can get right over the spot for sizing and it can give you sizes horizontally and vertically at the same time - other rulers I have do one or the other but not both on one placement.
PixelWindow (1.1) is a simple, light-weight, cross-platform application for measuring things on your screen.- Arrow keys: move the ruler by 1 pixel.
- Shift + arrow keys: move the ruler by 5 pixels.
- Command/Ctrl: resize the ruler by 1 pixel.
- Shift + Command/Ctrl: resize the ruler by 5 pixels.
- Mouse wheel: increase or decrease the transparency of the ruler.
- Command/Ctrl + n: open a new ruler.
- Double click: close a ruler.

@Gordon - nice replacement header
@Lee - well, you did it again. Gotta say you are a wealth of knowledge and always quick to share! I'd say more but gotta finish my coffee so I can write a word or two without mis-spelling!
Thanks again you guys

Was just having a look at your site and notice the white border round your logo is still there on smaller screen sizes. A screen or window size less than 980 px and the white border comes back.
Sorry.

@ jesus_automatic - thanks for that; you are right about the white border around the logo on smaller screens. Will need to find a way to rectify it - maybe in the css file, if/when I get a solution will write back.
Thanks agains
Ron
