the payment options are not working properly in my shop
i use 3 payment options: paypal standart, bank transfer, cod
no order maximum / minimum
sort order applied 1,2,3
payments only possible in "Netherlands"
product side: do i have to use "Misc Location:" i think that is only for your warehouse ?
product options enabled:
do i have to use "sort order" and where do you use that for anyhow
Requires Shipping: on
Ship Product Individually: on
i fill in the shipping costs manually
or use fixed shipping price
i don't know what i am doing wrong
please some good advice would be nice

Simple fix to this one!
Log into your Admin Panel...
System>Localizations>Locations
Enable or add any locations you need there!
You can also define Languages, etc there as well.
Also go to extensions>payments and click on the edit tag for your various payments. On the edit page, there is also a location drop down...you can choose just one or All.

location was not selected, so i selected "Netherlands"
languages, i just use the english version
extensions>payments > edit tag
use 3 payment options: paypal standart, bank transfer, cod
all three are set to location " Netherlands"
it does not change anything in the checkout area
still no shipping costs visable
maybe i forgot to select something in the product data
i cleared the cache ot the product data in "cache management"
shipping data:
per item shipping:
cost = 4
location " Netherlands"
auto selected : not selected, because there are more shipping options
accept these payments : paypal and bank
sort order = 2
---------------
Pickup From Store:
cost = na
location " Netherlands"
auto selected : not selected, because there are more shipping options
accept these payments : cod
---------------
the only thing i am missing is cod in shipping extensions
any advice ?

maybe it has tot do with taxes ?
in the checkout area: Estimate Shipping & Taxes ?
for i do not use taxes, while i have permission from the government to sell without taxes
due to my products are all secondhand

is your location "Netherland" contains it's zones?

yes it is "Netherlands"
and it has 12 zones [ provinces]

Shipping estimate relates to customer address.
Try to login as customer that have Netherland as country in his address. if estimate works, you have wrong country and zone for your store in settings. it's a "default" address for non-logged customers.

and checked througly if the country and the zone is there
estimate does not work yet

Kees, see the row of icons under the user name on the left column - the last one is for a personal message to a user thur the board email system.
Just hover over the one for Abantecart, it will show Personal Message, click on it and it will give you at ability to send a message that only the receiver will see - not the whole board.

I have checked your issue.
As suggested this post earlier. You do not have zone/location configured properly.
You have Netherlands, but with USA states.
make sure you have location set up properly with correct Netherlands zones. See images

i adjusted the zones for the netherlands and are able now to see the shippingcosts now
