Title: Category page doesn't open

I upgrated from version 1.7 to 1.8 now when I click a gategory page it send me to the homepage. Same thing happen when I meke a new category. the is shows correct but it send me allways to home page?!

Do You have any errors in error log (http://forum.abantecart.com/index.php/topic,834.msg3085.html#msg3085)?
SEO Urls enabled or disabled?

this happend after I did the update. No errors in error log since than, seo url is on, I just turn it off and it worked. Is it possible for me to use seo url and also have my pages work?  ;D

Hmm. I have doubts that upgrade changed your SEO. Can you check that you have .htaccess in place and with right permission.

make sure you did not change or remove .htaccess file in main directory

If I may add something, when I upgraded it overwrote the .htaccess and changed it back to .htaccess.txt

Check to make sure that it hasn't changed it, if it has, rename the file by deleting the .txt suffix.

That should do the trick!

Thank you for your heltp. the .htaccess was .htaccess.txt, now it's working.  :D
