Title: Updated: Downloads Not Showing In Product Edit Page

Update:

I have found that if after I clone the product and change the description, pictures, etc ... and then go to the files tab and add the correct download before I delete the one associated with the cloned product, all is well.

The problem is occurs if I delete the associated cloned download BEFORE adding the correct download.

Just a little more weird!

I'm using AbanteCart 1.1.8 and have a issue with downloads when cloning a product.

• I have uploaded all my downloadable assets.
• When creating a product, if I clone a product within the same category I can go to the file tab and find the download associated with that product.
• If I clone a product from a different category, the download associated with that new product does not show up on the downloads list when I try to add it to the product. The download is available in the downloads list, just not showing in the list under edit product>file.
• The only solution is to delete the download from the download list, then create it again and then it will be available in edit product>file
• I have an upgraded version of 1.1.7 and it's the same issue there as well as in an non-upgraded 1.1.7.

I can add a download in the product details, but how do you actually upload a down load product to my server for customers to download upon payment?

Under the catalog tab there is a link to downloads. Click that link and it will show the downloads, if any. Over to the right, click on the icon for creating a new download, a few simple steps and your download will be added. Then go to the product associated with the download, click on the files tab, then the little + sign, and then add and find your download and add it to that product.
