hi there,

abantecart lovers

hoe many clones of the main site are possible ?

i cloned my main site one time, this worked

i cloned the main site, and this one was visible as directory "AbanteCart"

then i changed the name "AbanteCart" in "tweedehands" in my ftp-prog

works fine.


tried it a second time, to make a third site

but then i got an error

i tried several names, nothing works

antiex.nl/ = the main page

antiex.nl/tweedehands is the second one

tried the third one, to place it in directory "boeken"

any suggestions ?

www.antiex.nl = the main page

first clone  = www.antiex.nl/tweedehands

second clone = the one that is not working = www.antiex.nl/AbanteCart

hi- regarding mysql_connect() warning, it appears MySQL is not running on the server itself?
Also, your domain antiex.nl cannot be resolved into IP address by your DNS servers - ns1.budgetsmartserver.nl & ns2.budgetsmartserver.nl - though it can be resolved into 66.7.213.43 using public DNS services..
Looks like both issues can be addressed straight to your hosting provider.
You can append "66.7.213.43 antiex.nl www.antiex.nl" record to your own laptop's hosts file, to be able to check when the MySQL issue is fixed, yet before your nameservers are fixed.

it seems there is issue with the server of your hosting provider

you have to contact them to help you out of this issue

when you say cloning your store -  are you using the 'create new store' function?  If so that is your issue-  multistore must be subdomains  not subdirectories.
