Title: Database error when trying to update to new Version 1.1.9

Hi....I received this error below when trying to update to new version...please help...thanks

2014-05-15 17:10:03 - database error:  AbanteCart core v.1.1.8 Error: MySQL server has gone away<br />Error No: 2006<br />SELECT dataset_id

                                WHERE dataset_name = 'install_upgrade_history'

I also have database issue eventhough successfully installed

This is related to auto back up process before upgrade. Your database doped connection. I think this might be related to larger size of the database.

We will have incremental backup process soon to solve this problem.

is it now safe to install 1.1.9 version? have you managed to fix major bugs

There are no issues with 1.1.9.  Problems that we see are all related to specific server configurations or file/folders permissions.

As suggested try upgrade first on test/dev site. Do not update on live site. Backup, Backup and Backup.
