Hi
I am suffering from a fixed Tax Rate of 23,22 percent inside AbanteCart.
I tried everything in the admin to find this rate and also tried to nullify it
without success !
If I enter a new product in AbanteCart and give it a price of 100 euro
then it shows up in the storefront with a price 76,78 euro
This is clearly a tax rate of 23,22 percent !
No matter what I change in the Admin it will always be 76,78 euro.
Where can I find this 23,22 percent tax rate ?
Is it hardcoded somewhere ? Please help!

Hello. All tax rates are NOT hardcoded and managed with Tax Clases and Tax rates inside each Tax class. You need to change Tax Rates inside your Tax class:
Go to Admin-System-Localization-Tax clases click to edit Tax Class. Then click on Rates Tab. Find needed rate and click edit button
Please read documentation (http://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-documentation/52-admin-user-manual/system/localization#Tax%20Classes)
Also You might want to disable Display Prices With Tax (http://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-documentation/50-admin-user-manual/system/settings#Checkout%20Tab) setting. you can find it in Admin-System-Settings-Checkout Tab

I tried all that 10 times at least. Tried all possible configurations there,
but without any change, it will always be 23,22 percent.
This must be a bug. I am using 0.9.1

Try to update to latest AbanteCart version. Please backup before changes.

I did not my self set this tax rate of 23,22 percent, yet it shows up
in the prices on the storefront.
I looked everywhere in the backend, t looked everywhere in the admin,
zones, locations, tax classes, checkout, etc. etc. it is not there.
If someone could tell me where to find this ghost tax rate 23,22 percent !!

current tax rates 3% and 7% with priority 1 and 2
Locations USA and Spain

This must be a bug. I am using 0.9.1
AbanteCart 0.9.1 is very outdated version and it is Beta. Please install latest AbanteCart (http://www.abantecart.com/free-ecommerce-downloads) 1.1.9
We can not support so old beta versions.. :) Latest version have a lot of new and great features

Hi. What is your default currency? Go to admin-System-Localization-Currencies there default currency have 1.00000000 value others should be more or less 1.00

I did what you said: System => Localization => currencies
and looked there at the currencies
I have there Euro + British Pound + Dollar
The Euro was there configured 0.76565.....
I really don´t know where this configuration came from - I did not enter it.
I changed it to 1.0000
Problem Solved !!
All prices in Store Front are now okay the same as I enter them in the Admin
