Title: AbanteCart 1.2 fresh install: Store Logo field missing

In the System -> Apperance admin page the Store Logo field is missing, therefore it's impossible to upload any file as a Store Logo.... (see the attachment)

no,  it's a bit different than 1.1.9.  you need to select the template  -that's where it says Template Selection  then you'll see where/how to change
