How to make telephone number compulsory?

In earlier versions telephone number was required.

Thank you for fast reply. After added

'required' => true ));

at create.php, I got this message

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/xxxx/public_html/storefront/controller/pages/account/create.php on line 159

I got the same error message. i'm running on 1.2.9 and there is no way to set telephone field mandatory. Help please! Abantecart Team!
