Title: Struggling with e-mail setup

Hello,

I am struggling to get the e-mail setup so it will send outgoing messages.  At the moment it will not send messages to my own e-mail or the customer e-mail addresses.

I have tried SMTP setup as well as the default options, for the SMTP setup, I have tried multiple addresses from multiple providers.

First please check forum search and Mail manual (http://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-documentation/user-manual/admin-user-manual/system/settings#Mail%20Tab)

Do you have any mail related errors in the AbanteCart error log? A common issue with using fsockopen() command is the firewall on your server may not be configured to allow the connection that you are trying to make
