Title: Problem with links, no / between site.com and index
Post by: lstenso on March 04, 2016, 11:49:34 PM
This is my first install and I have a couple problems.

Problem 1:  my links from my main page like "Specials", "Account", etc. do not work because there is not / between the site.com and index.  I am getting site.comindex.  Antone know where I can go or what file to edit to fix this?

Problem 2:  I am getting the error "Session save path is not writable! ", but have no idea where to find or set the path.  I have searched the forum and the location of the files I found do not seem to contain the path.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Welcome to the AbanteCart forum.  Here's some links to the documentation that will help you get your site setup correctly.

Be sure your site server is configured according to the requirements:

Check that your file permissions are set correctly:

Check that your system settings are right:

I reinstalled AbanteCart Cart, set permissions on two files and tested.  Links are now working and although no change was made to the server, I am not getting the error "Session save path is not writable! " anymore.  Everything seems to be working correctly now.
