Title: Brands icons not displaying at all

Hi All

My brands list at the bottom of the page does not show any logos. I went into brands in admin panel and can see the image next to Pantene. I removed the image and added it again, but I still cannot see it on storefront. My image folder permissions are correct. Any ideas?

Hi.

Clear AbanteCart cache and check again. Also check for errors inside AbanteCart error log.
Additionally recheck what Brands added to your block

Hi

I tried on 1.2.7 then 1.2.8 and can not see my brand icons. I created a new brand called TEST and uploaded a new image - TEST now shows up in the brands list, but without the image/icon.

The error logs are empty. The message log is attached.

I have attached the screenshots.

Please help!!

Hi.

Did you able to clear your AbanteCart cache, can you please provide site url?

Yes, I cleared the cache and tried from different browsers. I even created a fresh new test site with a different host and have the same issue. See here: http://www.zcart.byethost22.com/

Hi All

I have 2 questions:

1. In the image I have attached, you can see how my scrolling brands look in I.E and Chrome. Why do they look so bad in Chrome?

2. Is it possible to replace the brand names with brand logo images?

Could you please explain, did you try new install or upgraded stores from 1.2.7 to 1.2.8 , same server?
Did you see demo brands images just after install?

By the way what is your Brand Icon List Width/Height values in your template settings?

Hi

My code is an upgrade from 1.2.7 to 1.2.8.

My code for the Pantene brand looks like this:
<img class="internal" src="" width="" height="" alt="Pantene">

The code on the Abantecart Demo site looks like this:
<img class="internal" src="//demo.abantecart.com/image/thumbnails/18/71/mf_pantene_logo_jpg-100120-56x56.jpg" width="56" height="56" alt="Pantene">


If I look at categories -> Manufacturers, the Pantene image is there and it is 400px x 256px.

I tried to unlink and re-link the Pantene logo, but the code is still the same on my site.

Any ideas on why it is broken?

I am asking you about your settings this is not about code. You can find brand image settings in Admin >Design > Template > Edit

I no idea how this happened as I have never edited the scrolling brand list icon size.

I went to Design ->Template -> Edit. The scrolling brand icon size was empty (blank). I entered 57 for width and hight and this fixed thr issue!!
