Title: Does AbanteCart support or is there a way to implement M.A.P.
Post by: pav on December 18, 2016, 09:38:12 PM
Because of certain requirements/restrictions of some manufactures we are not allowed to show the price we are selling a product until it has been added to the cart (Add To Cart To See Price/See Price In Cart). If we do not comply then we will no longer be able to sell there products. I have been looking online and everywhere in the site administration pages for a solution and even checked the extensions that can be added. I have not found a way, trick or solution to implement Minimum Advertised Price that most other eCommerce solutions I have looked into have built in. Am I missing something or is AbanteCart just not capable of doing this?

I did see that option but the way the agreement with the manufactures are written it needs to be hidden or MSRP only until it is added to the cart. It gets confusing to have it show the MSRP and then a lower price once added to the cart so I want to have it show "See Price in Cart" instead. It would be best if there were an option under the manufacture to not show the prices of this manufacture until added to cart. I am fine with even having to do it on a by product basis. Just need a way of doing it.

Thanks
