HI....I'm trying to change some of the text on the site-generated contact page, in specific, the "Enter the code in the box below", I just want to remove the "below" word. I'm on cart v 1.2.9. Basic Template.
I'm in the Language Definitions and have attached the view that I think is important.
In testing how the Language Def. thing works, I was able to change the words in the admin menu "Developer Tools" to be "Developer Toolss", and that works fine, but the "enter the code in the box" on the contact page still says "enter the code in the box below".
I see an xml file in the language area , where we have'
<definition>
<key>entry_captcha</key>
<value><![CDATA[Enter the code in the box below:]]></value>
</definition>
but changing there , and uploading, seems to make no difference....I'm missing something here, and some help would be appreciated.
NOTE: I have been clearing all caches in this quest for a solution.....

Hi.
Try to remove definition from the Language Definitions page. After system will find it missed and will load xml

Hi!
Also choose All Languages & GO.
Then don´t change the translation in this page but click the icon Edit for the key you want to change.
This way it should you show the translation for all languages installed and you can verify AC is saving the changes in the language you´re interested to translate.

well this didn't seem to work...later I'll look at the saved backup and see if the version without "below" is there anywhere...thanks

I'd already deleted the entries in the English version....since that's what the previous suggestion was....but when I followed your directions, I did see the same full text in one of the fields, and changed it.....problem still exists, but later I'll see if it could be a cache issue...I DID empty the language cache in AC.....
fun times? Naah.....thanks
FIXED: Went into the database and made the language change. It finally got changed. Since it took overnight, even with my killing the caches involved, it's not for sure exactly why it got fixed, but it did get fixed....thanks
