Dear All,
We are planning to use additional Payment method, the payment gateway provided by "avenues.info" under the brand name of "ccavenue.com" . (As these guys accept majority of the local Indian payment methods, including payment thru netbanking which is what majority customers prefer, instead of cards)
How can we go about adding this additional Payment method into the Store? Without having to invest much time into studying the whole documentation for AbanteCart.
Thanks in advance for help.
I guess, you can just follow any existing payment extension that is close in approach. Copy it and create an new one.
Many payment gateways similar in approach. But unfortunately, we do not know much about Indian payment systems.
If you are wiling to contribute this module to community, we can help you if you run into issues.

I will try, as i am too bad at PHP coding, however let me try and share the progress of the same here. :)
i check ccavenue.com
did not find good documents or sdk for developers
but there are implementations of this payment module for OSC, zen and other open-source projects
so you can take paypal module as an example
and update it using code from other cart

We hear more and more that CCAvenue integration is needed. We will consider this.
Hey Admin,
that is a great news! :D I can do some publicity for AbanteCart once we have this integration established.
Many thanks,
Hari Krishna
