Title: Product attributes

Hi,
Not sure if this has been asked before, i have searched but couldn't find a relevant answer.
I know how to create different attributes (size/colour etc) and add them to products but how do i combine the 2 (or more) so that stock levels are correct?
VARIABLE PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES
Its ok if for example a dress is available in various sizes, but only 1 colour, but what if there are multiple variables, can the variables be linked so stock levels are tracked / updated correctly?

EG
A dress is available in various colours (black, red etc)
BUT
Black is available in sizes 8,10,12,14
Red is available in sizes 10,14 only
and of course variable quantities available as they are sold

While i appreciate i could create separate products for each colour option, it would be better if all options were on the same product listing.

Any advice on how this is achieved?

I wanted to post a topic about the same question, but my order is little bit something different. I am selling fabrics in wholesale only and that all for local and global markets so, I wanna show the lengths of fabrics in each roll we have in the warehouse and that by meters, so how to do that please??
