Title: Block can not delete

I created a new html block and added to checkout page, below the cart content block.  After click "save", I see this block doesn't show on storefront cart page.  I added again the same html blcok below the fist one by clicking "+" button, and click "save", then I see something wrong, on storfront cart page, I see two blocks there, but on conrtol panel Layout section, it shows "None".

Now I can not change it, even I choose " None", or choose any other block, on storefront cart page the 2 blocks are still there.

I try to turn this block off on "Block" section, it says:
"Can't change status because this block is not in use. Please visit Layout section. "

I try to delete this block, it says
"Can't delete because this block is in use. Please visit Layout section. "

Can any one help with this?            ( Version 1.1.2 )

This issue was addressed and fixed in some version, I think 1.1.3 or 1.14

Thanks for your reply.  I updated to the newest version(1.1.4), still can not remove those 2 blocks or add new block.  Now I have to make the block blank to show nothing on the page.

Hi guys,

I am having the same problems as the user mentioned above and even with or without the blocks being used in the layout I get the same error of "Can't delete because this block is in use. Please visit Layout section."

How was this error resolved?  I am using a new install of 1.1.9 (September 2014)

I have the same issue too and I'm on the same version as you...maybe it got fixed and something in the upgrade broke it again?

Originally I posted this issue from version 1.1.2, never resolved. I had to make it blank and invisible.
