and Now question.

Any log record with the error? Log can be found in /system/logs/error.log
I have the same problem on electronicprojectsonline. co.uk for some reason the image does not show. If I check the image URL it is: src="electronicprojectsonline. co.uk/index.php?rt=common/captcha" when i try to load the image in a browser I get the following message: The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
It is related to GZIP compression as far as I can see. If this is disabled then the captcha image is shown, Is there any way around this?
Do you have compression enabled on your apache server? Try to disable it
does not appear to make a difference
Hello,
Local testing AbanteCart 1.1.8 and I found that:
Settings -> System -> Output Compression Level
it is necessary to enter 0 if you change anything else in the Captcha does not show.
Best regards Chico
Thank you Chico!
:D :D :D :D I've been looking everywhere for a solution to this even though it's not actually a solution.... Hopefully 1.1.9 will allow compression without this bug!.... Still, this has made my night!
1.1.9 should be out in a week or so ... the guys are working very hard to get if debugged and QA done. Also the new marketplace will be launching at the same time!
This didnt fix my issue, Although my issue is not with the image loading. Im using 1.1.8 and the captcha just point blank does not load, it doesnt even display an image indicating that its trying to or even failed to load.
any suggestions?
