Title: Redirecting to Cart Page

In the settings under the checkout tab, I have this setting:

Same Page Add To Cart: ON
This will enable AJAX add to cart feature. Product can be added to cart without redirecting to cart page.

With this set to ON, it is still redirecting to the cart page when I add to cart.  Is this a bug?

Adding to cart without leaving page will work only if product has no options (attributes). If your product has attributes, user selection required and user will be directed to product details page

It is not a bug.

Sorry I wasn't as clear on the question as I should have been.  When I am on the details page and click add to cart it goes to the cart page instead of staying on the the details page, is that what it should do?

no. It is not designed to do that.
