Hi,
Does anyone know if there's an extension for Xero?
This would allow, for example, shipped orders to appear in Xero.

I did not come across of Xero extension, but you can try Avatax that is included with AbanteCart.

So what are you looking for? You using Xero as your accounting system and want some type of interface?
