Title: external image - prevent loading image message

Is there anyway when using an external html product image that when the user hovers over the image it does not display the "loading image" text or "the image could not be loaded" text

Hello.
You have to change how your template process the product's media.
For default template you should start from this file https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/blob/master/public_html/storefront/view/default/template/pages/product/product.tpl
