Hi, I have my Abantecart site up and running and I'm adding products (160 out of over 620 in total!)
I have my home page listed using the 'Latest Products' block and I have the settings set to show 'Date New to Old' but it's not quite the way I want it.
I would like my products to display based on the date the I have entered in the 'Date Available' box.
For example, let's say that the Date Available was 12 December 2021. When I add this product, I don't want it show on my home page (or Latest Products as is the case) above something that has a date of 12 February 2022.
Is there a particular way for me to do this?

One option. You can edit date added on the product table directly with sql

Thanks for replying.
Would you be kind enough to give me the directions for doing that?

Hello.
Disable the latest block in the Home page layout https://abantecart.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/11763764/Pages+Layouts
Create the new Data Listing block and show products you want to display on home page https://abantecart.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/12713994/Data+Listing+block

Thank you. I'll take a proper look at this as soon as I have some time.

Hello. Please see how easy it is

I have had a quick look at this and I don't think it's going to do what I need it to do.
This only seems to be good for the products that I choose. That's not what I'm looking for.
I want the latest products to display on the front page in the order of the date that they were added and for it to do it automatically. If I was to use it this way, I feel that I would manually have to add every single new product that I add and I don't have the time to do that.
Maybe I'm wrong.
I think that the option mentioned earlier by someone else would be a good option, but I'm can't figure out how to actually do that solution.
