Title: how do i add code to header

To verify your website, follow these steps:
Copy the HTML tag generated for your website:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="mSDBbmV5_t5ZcDO_" />
content_copy

Paste the HTML tag in the HTML code of your site’s home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section. See example

Click "Verify website" below to submit your website to Google Search Console for verification.
You will receive a confirmation email from Google Search Console and be able to continue to the next step (claim your website).

how do i add this code to header. i try creating a block html header and add it but google says


The meta tag on your site is in the wrong location

Hello.
You need to edit your template file for example
https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/blob/master/public_html/storefront/view/default/template/common/head.tpl#L3

this just mades it so hard like who would understand that unless i am a developer

Hello. Google has other types of ownership verification.
